Tom Lucey

Tom Lucey is currently Managing Director of the Money Direct. Tom was permanently appointed to this position February 2011.

With over 600 employees, the GE Money Direct business runs over 120 full service locations across Australia, including a Direct call centre in Parramatta.

Tom's extensive career in the consumer finance industry has spanned over 30 years. In 1983, Tom joined the Avco Financial Services business as a Branch Manager and has moved through various leadership roles in GE's sales network. 

During his time Tom has held a number of senior positions with GE Money including General Manager, Chief Operating Officer & Managing Director of Sales and Distribution.

As a leader, Tom made his mark through creating a strong sales culture, a commitment to customer relationships, and driving strong returns for the business.

Tom is known for his passion for sales-force effectiveness and engaging with employees at all levels in the organisation, Tom has deep personal loan expertise and a proven ability and capacity to execute.
