
Stuart White is the Managing Director of Pacific Premium Funding at GE Capital in Australia & New Zealand. Stuart has 22 years of experience in the insurance, finance and IT sectors. He holds a Bachelor of Business from the University of Technology Sydney and is a Chartered Accountant.
Stuart joined GE in August 2004 following the creation of a joint venture between GE and the shareholders of the original Pacific Premium Funding business. During that time he fulfilled the dual roles of Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operations Officer until being appointed to his current role in early 2008.
Stuart co-founded Pacific Premium Funding in 2001. He served as Finance Director until the joint venture with GE in 2004. In this role he undertook several business acquisitions, established the company's securitisation-based funding platform, and worked closely with the Chief Executive Officer to successfully grow the company from a start-up to the number-two market position.
Prior to Pacific, Stuart worked for nine years in the insurance and IT sectors, holding roles at Allianz (and previously MMI), including Chief Financial Officer of Allianz’s premium funding business; IT Services Manager; and as the General Manager of a software company, Red Planet.
Stuart began his career as a Chartered Accountant at KPMG.
