Michael Ackland

Michael Ackland is Chief Operating Officer for GE Capital Australia and New Zealand.

Michael joined GE Money in March 2004. Since that time he has held a variety of roles across Finance, Quality and Operations. In May 2008, Michael assumed the role of acting Chief Operations Officer for GE Money Australia and New Zealand. He assumed his current role as Chief Operating Officer for GE Capital in January 2009. In this role he is responsible for all New Accounts, Customer Service, Channel Management, Collections, Fraud, Quality and CRM functions across the GE Capital businesses in Australia and New Zealand. 

Prior to joining GE, Michael spent eight years with the Boston Consulting Group. In this time, he consulted for major financial services, retail and a range of manufacturing clients across Australia, Europe and India.

Michael has a Bachelor of Commerce and Bachelor of Engineering (Hons) from the University of Melbourne.
