
Aaron Baxter is the Managing Director, GE Capital New Zealand, a role he has held since October 2011.
Previously, Aaron Baxter was the Managing Director of GE Money New Zealand, with responsibility for building the growth agenda across the Retail, Personal Loans and Insurance Businesses.
Prior to joining GE, Aaron spent four years at AGC/Westpac. He originally joined on a graduate development program followed by a variety of roles in Sales & Account Management.
In 1998 Aaron joined GE Money as a State Account Manager in the Retail Finance business. A year later, after GE acquired AVCO, Aaron moved to the Sales Network as a District Manager to help lead and integrate the Victorian branch channel.
After the acquisition of AGC in 2002, Aaron was appointed as the Sales & Marketing Integration Leader. He then spent two years in Sydney as the National Sales Leader and was responsible for all major retail partnerships and business development activities. In 2005 Aaron was appointed as the General Manager of Sales.
In September 2007, Card Solutions and Retail Finance merged businesses. Aaron was appointed as the General Manager for the Harvey Norman portfolio. His key responsibilities were to lead the Harvey Norman partnership so that the strategic, operational and profit of both partners are achieved. In 2009 Aaron assumed responsibility for Coles with similar responsibilities.
He was appointed in March 2010 as the Managing Director, GE Money New Zealand.
Aaron holds a Bachelor of Business in Marketing as well as a MBA from Victoria University in Melbourne.
